I ended up with a few RN-1's for a good bit less, but the RN-1's servos (8498 or 5498) are not as strong as the Bioloid GP's. I do like the Bioloid GP, but it costs too much for me (Around $2,800 USD?!?! Really, Robotis - does it need to cost THAT MUCH? Might pay HALF of that!). That said, if you don't need the crazy power, and are ready to work with the more wobbly RN-1 w/ 8498's, they are cheaper when you can find them!Īmazing how the RN-1's have vanished. The ROBONOVA-I can walk, run, do flips, cartwheels, dance moves and once programmed, is ready to compete in any Robo One Class competition. Listen, I can walk, run, do flips, cartwheels, dance moves and am controlled by 16 powerful digital servos. 4 millimeters less long than the servos that come with the robonova. The problem your having is signal strength. This doesn’t begin to match up with, for instance, the HS-5645 which has 12.1 kg/cm torque and a speed of. The mofi, which again is a white labeled we826 with an mc7455 inside, is capable of atleast 85-90Mbps. No, the mofi was getting lesser speeds because the nighthawk has better antennas inside. If you search for Metal Fighter Robot on Google or whatever, you can find some hits.Īmazing how the RN-1's have vanished. Re: MOFI 4500 vs Nighthawk M1 vs WE826-T2 with EM7565. There was, but that site appears to be gone or down.

Their website is, but it's not in English. The company that made the RN-1 (NOT actually Hitec, btw!) released a new version of the 'bot, you can see it here: Wow, just did a little looking around, and they've really vaporized.
